Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your use of the online booking portal (“Polypipe Professional Development Portal”) provided by Polypipe Limited trading as Polypipe Building Products (“Polypipe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to book places on in-person training courses, Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) and other training offered by Polypipe and their qualified British Plumbing Employers Council (“BPEC”) and Water Regulation professionals (together, “Training Courses”). By accessing and using this booking platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.1. All bookings for Training Courses are made through the SumUp Payment Platform and it’s checkout process.
1.2. Course availability is subject to change without notice. The Polypipe Professional Development Portal displays the current availability of courses.
1.3. To book a place on a Training Course, you must follow the registration process outlined during the checkout process handled by the SumUp Payment platform.
1.4. All payments for Training Courses are processed securely through SumUp. Polypipe does not directly handle your payment information.
1.5. The price of each Training Course is as displayed and is inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
1.6. As part of payment, you will be required to provide an email address. Once payment is complete you will receive email confirmation. Your booking is confirmed only upon successful payment and receipt of a confirmation email from Polypipe. It is your responsibility to ensure that the details in the confirmation email are correct.
2.1. The prices displayed on the Polypipe Professional Development Portal are the current prices for the respective Training Courses.
2.2. Polypipe reserves the right to change the prices of Training Courses at any time without prior notice. However, such changes will not affect Training Course bookings that have already been confirmed.
2.3. Discounts or promotional offers may be available from time to time. These will be subject to their own specific terms and conditions, which will be made available.
3.1. Cancellation by You: If you wish to cancel your Training Course booking, you must notify us in writing (via email to the contact details provided on the Polypipe Professional Development Portal) as soon as possible. * Cancellation charges will apply based on the notice period provided prior to the Training Course start date: * More than 3 business days’ notice: Full refund of the course fee. * 2 to 1 business days’ notice: 50% refund of the course fee. * Less than 1 business days’ notice: No refund will be provided. * Non-attendance without prior notification will be treated as a cancellation with less than the minimum notice period, and no refund will be provided.
3.2. Cancellation by Polypipe: Polypipe reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Training Course due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient enrolment, instructor unavailability, or facility issues. * In the event of a cancellation by Polypipe, you will be offered the following options: * A full refund of the Training Course fee. * Transfer to an alternative available Training Course of the same value. * A credit note for future Training Courses valid for 12 months. * Polypipe will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as reasonably possible of any cancellation or rescheduling. However, Polypipe shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation or rescheduling, including but not limited to travel or accommodation costs.
4.1. Refunds will be processed according to the cancellation policy outlined in Section 3.
4.2. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the Training Course booking.
4.3. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed and appear in your account.
5.1. If you fail to attend a booked Training Course without providing prior written notification of cancellation (as per the cancellation policy), you will be considered a “no-show.”
5.2. No refunds will be provided for no-shows.
5.3. Polypipe reserves the right to refuse future bookings for Training Courses from individuals with a history of no-shows.
6.1. The content of the Training Courses are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
6.2. Polypipe reserves the right to modify the course content, format, and instructors at any time without prior notice.
6.3. While Polypipe instructors are qualified BPEC and Water Regs professionals, successful completion of a Training Course does not guarantee any specific certification or qualification unless explicitly stated in the Training Course description. Any formal certifications or qualifications will be subject to the requirements of the relevant awarding body (e.g., BPEC).
7.1. All materials provided as part of the Training Courses, including but not limited to handouts, presentations, and other resources, are the intellectual property of Polypipe or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
7.2. You are permitted to use these materials solely for your personal educational purposes related to the specific Training Course you have booked. You are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise exploit these materials without the prior written consent of Polypipe.
8.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polypipe’s liability for any direct loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your booking and participation in a Training Course shall be limited to the amount of the course fee paid by you.
8.2. Polypipe shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, damages, or expenses (including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Polypipe Professional Development Portal or participation in the Training Courses.
8.3. You are responsible for ensuring your own safety and well-being during the in-person Training Courses. Polypipe shall not be liable for any personal injury or property damage sustained by you during a Training Course, except to the extent caused by Polypipe’s own negligence.
9.1. Polypipe will process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy, which is available on Polypipe’s website. By using the Polypipe Professional Development Portal and booking a Training Course, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal data for the purposes of managing your booking and providing the training services.
10.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11.1. Polypipe Building Products reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the Polypipe Professional Development portal, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically. Your continued use of the Polypipe Professional Development portal after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
